Westwood Resident Helps Clean Up School with Celtics CommUNITY Crew

Bill Reissfelder worked with Sen. Scott Brown, Gov. Deval Patrick and others in Mattapan as part of a recent volunteer project.

A Westwood resident last month took some time to help revitalize the facilities at the Mattahunt Elementary School in Mattapan

Bill Reissfelder spent a day as a member of the Boston Celtics CommUNITY Crew, a community-based program that works with Arbella Insurance and City Year, and is run by the team and Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation.

The CommUNITY Crew works at different volunteer community projects throughout the year and comprises members of the Celtics organization, as well as season ticket holders, coaching staff and corporate partners.

Deval Patrick, Boston Celtics Co-owner Stephen Pagliuca, Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge, Team President Rich Gotham, Celtics Legend Dana Barros, Celtics Play by Play Announcer Sean Grande and Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.
