WEF to Fund Second Mini-Grant Cycle

Requests for up to $1,500 can be submitted through Jan. 15.

The Westwood Education Foundation announced Monday that it will be funding the second of its mini-grant cycles with a deadline of Jan. 15.  

Residents can submit requests of up to $1,500 for programs and events that encourage lifelong learning for anyone from Westwood, according to WEF. 

Last fall, the WEF mini grants helped fund a sixth grade play at , 's stained glass club, as well as observational drawing in nature for the third and fourth grades at .

Parents, teachers and other residents are encouraged to present the WEF with creative ideas that need funding.
