State Primary Roundup: State Rep., Senate Candidates Go Head-to-Head Tuesday
A rundown of who will be featured on Tuesday's ballot for Democratic and Republican Primaries.
Westwood residents voting in the State Primary Election tomorrow have a slue of options when it comes to voting Democrat or Republican, both statewide and on a local level.
The most local candidates for State Senate include Mike Rush (D – 10th District Suffolk), Brad Williams (R-West Roxbury) and newcomer and Westwood resident Michael Walsh. The three candidates recently discussed several pressing issues at a candidates' forum in Dedham. At the same venue, State Rep. candidates Mac D'Alessandro and Vernon Harrison stood alone in answering several questions asked by local residents.
Congressman Stephen Lynch later called out D'Alessandro over what he considered to be "negative" mailings that went out to voters. Meanwhile, the Norfolk District Attorney candidates - all Democrats - looked to cross the finish line in Tuesday's Primary.
