POLL: Should Cell Phone Use be Outlawed for All Drivers?

A U.S. safety board said Tuesday that even wireless headsets and hands-free devices aren't enough to prevent serious risks.

In the summer of 2010, the Commonwealth approved a bill to outlaw drivers of all ages from sending text messages while driving and ban anyone under the age of 18 would from using cell phones at all behind the wheel.

Now it looks as though all drivers of all ages nationwide could soon be in the same boat. 

The National Transportation Safety Board is now urging states to ban drivers from using cell phones, as well as hands-free devices that include wireless headsets, according to a New York Times report Tuesday. citing that such devices don't prevent serious accidents from taking place.
