Absentee Ballots Now Available Through Westwood Town Clerk

The voter registration deadline for Westwood residents is coming up on August 25.

Westwood residents who are not currently registered voters, or are voters and wish to change their political party, should keep Wednesday, August 25 free on their calendar.

The Registrar of Voters will be conducting a voter registration session from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 25 at the Westwood Town Clerk's office. It will be the last day to register for eligibility to vote in the State Primary on Tuesday, September 14.

What's more, absentee ballots for the State Primary are now available through the Westwood Town Clerk's office. Residents looking to file for an absentee ballot can make a request through application until 12 p.m. on Monday, September 13. For eligibility, or to download an absentee ballott application, visit the State Election Division website

When voting in a Primary Election, voters will only be given ballots for the party in which they are enrolled. Voters registered as "unenrolled" can choose either a Democratic, Republican, or Libertarian ballot.
