Westwood Police Log: Youth Fight Broken Up, Suspicious Vehicle Drives Off
Juveniles engage in a fight and a suspicious car speeds away from Police.
March 12, 10:01 p.m. - After coming across a group of youths who were involved in a physical altercation last week, Westwood Police broke up the fight and made contacts with the parents of several juveniles involved.
Parents were asked to come to the area of Pond Street and a Arcadia Road, where the fight had taken place, and bring their respective offspring home.
March 13, 3:57 p.m. - While on patrol, Westwood Police observed a suspicious-looking 2007 Toyota parked on the side of the road in the area of High Street and Pleasant Valley Road.
The vehicle, according to police reports, was parked with its hazard lights on. When police turned around to check on the involved party, the vehicle drove off at a high rate of speed.
