Westwood Police Log: One Injured in Three-Car Accident

The accident took place after the first blizzard of the winter season.

Westwood Police responded to the area of 745 High St. on Tuesday, December 28 at around 10:46 a.m. after receiving a report of an accident involving multiple vehicles.

The accident, police said, was a chain-reaction that occurred when a 2000 Chevrolet was unable to stop on the street, thus colliding with a 2007 Honda. The Honda then hit a 1994 Mercury from behind.

The operator of the Chevrolet was transported to Norwood Hospital for minor injuries, and the vehicle was towed. The operators of the other two vehicles drove home from the scene after police assistance, according to reports.
