Walpole Resident Arrested, Charged With OUI

Westwood Police arrested a Walpole woman over the weekend for driving along High Street in Westwood under the influence of liquor.
On Saturday, Aug. 27 at around 3:20 a.m., police responded to the parking lot of on High Street, where they found the operator of a Lexus who had been sitting in the car.
Upon contact, police determined that the individual was intoxicated. She was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer after she punched the arm of the responding officer while trying to grab her telephone.
