Why Go: Enjoy an evening of tunes at the Needham Historical Society featuring young artists from the Needham area, including Ariel Nathanson, Zoe Gelinas, Eli Teplin, Hannah Miller, Cayla Johnson, Anna Miller and Sarah Miller.

Why Go: Musician Bill Black is joined by a different musician every week. Come on in for a pint and a good nosh anytime after 5 p.m. and stay for some great 'craic'!

Where/When: Blue Hills Brewery, 1020 Turnpike St., Canton; Friday, Aug. 19: 3:30-6:30 p.m. or Saturday, Aug. 20, 2-6 p.m.
Why Go: Stop by the local brewery for a complimentary tour and tasting, held every Friday and Saturday.

Where/When: Norwood Town Common, Washington St. & Nahatan St., Norwood; Sunday, Aug. 21: 7 p.m.
Why Go: The Westwood Summer Concert Series might be over, but the music plays on in Norwood, just down the road on Nahatan Street, for a performance by The Suburbanaires. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy some music!

Where/When: , 62 Cedar St, Dedham; Sunday, Aug. 21: 6-6:45 p.m.
Why Go: Taize worship includes candlelight, prayers, readings, silence, and soft music with repetitive words led by keyboard, flute or guitar. The service is very meditative and offers a wonderful opportunity to be silent and center on the Lord.
