Question of the Day Topic: Tree Removal

Westwood officials are looking to remove four dead trees on the roadways.

Town officials will move forward with the removal of four dead or dying trees from various roadways in Westwood, Tuesday night.

The trees will be removed from Woodland, Thatcher and Grove Streets, officials said Tuesday.

While one Planning Board member voted against their removal, the remainder of the Board gave a thumbs up to the Westwood Department of Public Works, officials from which said that removing the trees now would help prevent safety issues during the winter months.
