  1. Today is President's Day. Westwood's trash and recycling collection will follow a regular schedule today; there will be no delay due to the holiday.
  2. Westwood Public Schools will be closed this week due to February Vacation. Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 28.
  3. The Westwood Public Library will be closed today due to the holiday.
  4. Snow is in the forecast for Monday in Westwood, mainly before 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will reach near 31 degrees. There is a 90 percent chance of precipitation, and accumulations of two to four inches of snow are possible.
  5. Gas prices hovered at an average of $3.20 per gallon on Sunday, according to AAA's Fuel Price Finder. Westwood Gulf on High Street had the cheepest reported price as of Saturday, at $3.13 per gallon.
