Where/When: , 106 Central St, Wellesley; Saturday, Feb. 25: 8 p.m.
Why Go: Founded by world-renowned griot percussionist Lamine Touré, Afro-pop band Group Saloum fuses Senegalese mbalax with elements of jazz, funk, reggae, and Afrobeat. At Wellesley College, Lamine Touré will present a drumming workshop, open to all at 4 PM, then give an evening performance with Group Saloum. Be sure to stop by to catch this event!

Why Go: Head over to the Wellness Club at Whole Foods Market in Dedham for a night focused on the health of your family. A healthy mom makes for a healthy family, pre and post natal. Start your family off on the right track with knowledge of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.

Why Go: Spring semester starts in April, and now's your chance to take part in a free demonstration before classes officially begin. Neponset Valley Music Together offers family classes for children birth to age 5 and the adults who love them.

Where/When: 626 High St, Dedham; Sunday, Feb. 26: 10 a.m.
Why Go: A weekly market will be held at the new Dedham Square Country Market, located in the Odd Fellows building at 626 High Street (next to Nest). The market has been organized by Greg Agnew, proprietor of the Dedham Square Country Market, whose family farm "Lemon Thyme Farm" was a regular vendor at the Dedham Farmers Market last season.
Price: Prices vary.

Where/When: Wilson Mountain, Common St., Dedham; Saturday, Feb. 25: 10 a.m.
Why Go: Come along with L.L.Bean on a free group hike of Wilson Mountain in Dedham, with beautiful summit views of the Blue Hills and the Boston skyline. Head over to the mountain at 9:45 a.m. with your hiking shoes, water and snacks, then enjoy a late morning hike from 10 a.m. to noon.
