VIDEO, PHOTOS: Westwood Land Trust Brings Out the Art of Nature

An annual art exhibit, hosted by the land trust, was held Tuesday night at Westwood High School.

The nature of Westwood was the theme that resonated through the halls of Tuesday night.

As part of its annual "," the Westwood Land Trust welcomed residents and families to visit this year's gallery, which comprised works from students in kindergarten all the way through 12th grade, as well as art and photography created by residents and teachers in the school system.

A large portion of the exhibit included works that were created by students as part of an outdoor project at Hale Reservation, where instructors worked with them to use the art of weaving to create something new, using twigs, branches, leaves and yarn and twine.
