Social Media Highlights of the Week: May 1-7

Here at Westwood Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind.  is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before. 

Highlights of the Week

• The initial news that Osama bin Laden was killed earlier this week sparked a few likes on our Facebook Page, and Walda Keohane was "beyond thrilled" at the news.
• Two readers were pleased when we posted on Facebook that three restaurants in the Westwood area were taking part in the Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer.
• On Twitter, Kevin Aires 
• Matt Noonan of Noontime Sports gave us a nice twitter shout out on Friday.
• Whole Foods in Dedham mentioned us on Twitter for posting their as this week's Great Escape.
