Board of Health Fees Increased in July

The following Board of Health fees went into effect on July 12, 2013:

Plan Review Fees

• Plan Review for Mobile Food, Pools, Tanning, Hotels: $250 and $25.00 per revision
• Plan Review for Food Establishments/Retail Food :
• 0-5000 square feet:  $150
• 5001 square feet and over: $0.03 per sq. ft.

Retail Food Establishment Fees: $100.00 Base Permit Fee, then additional fee-based on Square Footage:

• 0-2500 square feet: $100.00
• 2,501-10,000 square feet : $200.00
• 10,001-25,000 square feet : $300.00
• 25,001 square feet and over:  $400.00 or $0.03 per square feet, whichever is greater    

Permit Fees for Tanning Facilities: $150.00 for first device, then  $50.00 per additional device

These rates were approved by the Board of Health on June 11, 2013 and by the Board of Selectmen on July 1, 2013.
