Marianne LeBlanc is a resident of Westwood, and a principal at Sugarman and Sugarman P.C in Boston.

She is trial attorney with a proven record of success in the courtroom for nearly two decades. Her advocacy skills make a difference both to her clients and to the community at large. Her practice encompasses all aspects of serious personal injury litigation, including liquor liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice with a focus on nursing home liability.

Marianne has provided leadership to a wide variety of legal, civic, and community organizations. She is the immediate past Chair of the Women’s Caucus of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and serves as its representative to the AAJ Board of Governors. She also serves as an elected State Delegate for Massachusetts to AAJ. She is a past president of both the Women’s Bar Foundation and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, and chaired the Civil Litigation Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association from 2001 to 2002. She has published numerous articles, and presents frequently at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) and the Massachusetts Bar Association, among other venues.

She has been instrumental in securing and organizing Sugarman’s charitable involvement with the Harrington House, one of the properties owned by the New England Home for Little Wanderers.

Marianne joined Sugarman in 1993 and has been a principal of the firm since 1999.
