On Thursday, June 21, 44 students and eight adults will be leaving for a Xaverian Pilgrimage to Italy, a trip that will take the group on a spiritual journey through Rome, Ostia, San Gimignano, Sienna and Florence. The group will be documenting its travel
The Hawks' Summer Sports Clinics are open to boys entering grades 6-9. Coaching staff include Xaverian coaches, assistant coaches and varsity athletes. All clinics will run 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, with Friday being a “rain date.”

The Hawks defeated Algonquin 7-1 on Saturday, June 16, to clinch the 2012 Div. 1 Baseball State Championship.
Monday marked the third year in a row the squad reached the Division 1 South Finals.
The Xaverian Brothers High School varsity baseball team rose victorious from a battle with Taunton in the MIAA Division 1 South Championship, 10-2. Senior captains Tim Duggan, who in December 2011 signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Fairfield University, and Chris Hoyt, accepted the championship trophy after the game, according to Xaverian's blog. It was a strong victory for the Hawks, as senior Nick Ahearn kept Taunton to two runs during nine innings, while senior Mike LaVita pulled in two runs on a single in the seventh inning. Commencement Ceremonies for Xaverian Brothers High School Class of 2012 took place on May 18.
Xaverian Brothers High School Class of 2012 received their diplomas under blue skies May 18. This marks Xaverian's 46th graduating class which consisted of 224 young men and also included the 9000th graduate of the high school. Student speakers included Valedictorian Sean Tengalia of South Weymouth and Salutatorian Naman Agarwal of Franklin.
Canton native Brendan Burke, a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, was recently named as an Honorary Marshal for the 2012 Pride Parade, a designation which is given posthumously. Burke died in a car accident in 2010.
