Westwood police responded to a call yesterday in which a resident felt a person in a van was acting suspicious.
Yesterday morning the Westwood Police received a call from a Bridle Path resident, who stated that there was a suspicious looking van in the neighborhood. The caller had taken down the license plate of the van and officers were dispatched to the area, where they pulled the driver over. At that point officers discovered that the operator of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license, and he was placed under arrest. Billerica resident Bruno Santos, 31, was charged with Operating after Suspension, Operating with a Revoked Registration and Operating Uninsured.
