Both Westwood's baseball and softball teams clinched their playoff spots this week and will be joining boys and girls lacrosse, as well as girls tennis, in the state tournament.
Tournament brackets for baseball, softball and tennis will be released Tuesday. Girls lacrosse wrapped up the number one overall seed and will have a first-round bye; boys lacrosse will host a preliminary-round game Tuesday against Georgetown. Baseball (11-9) Softball (10-10) Leigha Valentine was the first team all star and EB Messenio was second team.
