UPDATE: Stoughton Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on I-95 in Westwood
State Police are investigating a Monday afternoon motorcycle crash in Westwood on Route 95 involving Daniel Timmons of Stoughton.
Updated at 9:30 a.m. on August 21: Daniel Timmons, a 39-year-old man from Stoughton, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle traveling southbound on Route 95/Route 128 at Route 1 in Westwood when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed off the shoulder of the roadway. The accident occurred at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 20. Timmons was transported by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with what was originally reported as life-threatening injuries. However, in a followup release Tuesday morning, the State Police said it appears Timmons’ injuries are not life-threatening in nature.
