Thursday, May 2 1:31 a.m.: A motor vehicle stop resulted in an arrest on a warrant from the Quincy District Court of Shavonne Overton, 33, from 1024 Truman Parkway in Hyde Park. 11:48 a.m.: A resident came into the station with a firearm that belonged to her father-in-law who had passed away. The resident found the weapon while cleaning. 6 p.m.: A caller reported being struck by a vehicle while jogging earlier in the day. The person suffered minor pain as a result and a half dollar-sized bruise on his tricep. 7:56 p.m.: Officers received a report of a disabled motor vehicle and responded to Washington Street. Police arrested Richard Singleton, 59, from 210 Wrentham Road in Bellingham and charged him with OUI liquor.

Wednesday, May 1 7:48 a.m.: Officers received a report of a loose dog on High Street. An animal control officer identified the dog, took custody and brought it to Natick Animal Shelter. 11:59 a.m.: Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle crash on Washington Street next to CVS involving two cars. One car struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle in a parking lot. There were no injuries. 11:39 p.m.: A vehicle at the Rte. 128 Amtrack station was left running overnight. A woman stated her husband left for New York and left the car running. An officer gained entry and shut the car off.

Monday, April 29 1:35 a.m.: A taxi driver stopped his car next to a police cruiser that was conducting traffic stops after the driver's passenger was argumentative. Officers noticed the passenger had an active warrant and arrested Jeffrey Hibbard, 27, from 47 Eaton Road in Dedham on a warrant from the Boston District Court. 10:30 a.m.: A representative of a business on Pearl street reported a missing netbook computer and filed a police report relative to the matter. Tuesday, April 30 10:41 a.m.: A person entered the station at the request of Westwood officers after an investigation of a past case of larceny at Dunkin' Donuts. Officers arrested Melissa Sharrow, 25, from 5 Williams Street in Framongham and charged her with larceny over $…

Saturday, April 27 6:46 a.m.: A motor vehicle stop resulted in the criminal summons of a 30-year-old Milford man. Officers cited the man for operating with a suspended license, unlicensed operation and speeding. Sunday, April 28 4:59 p.m.: A Sexton Avenue resident called police reporting an aerator she had rented was taken off her property. 9:06 p.m.: A resident came into the station to report an encounter when she was threatened by a local resident.

Friday, April 26 8:24 a.m.: A resident called police after finding an item missing from her vehicle. The resident called back later after finding it in her second vehicle. 2:29 p.m.: A resident called 911 reporting a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate the person. 9:55 p.m.: Officers served a restraining order to a patient at the Westwood Lodge Hospital. 11:35 a.m.: Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot that is a dark-colored sedan. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

Thursday, April 25 11:37 a.m.: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hartford Street involving a car that pulling out of a side street and lost control and hit a fence, then a speed limit sign, then a second fence, then a tree. An ambulance transported a patient to Norwood Hospital. 3:51 p.m.: Officers responded to a complaint about a solicitor and discovered the person was not registered. Officers advised the person about town solicitation bylaws. 8:22 p.m.: A caller on Highland Glen Road reported received a phone call from someone asking for her credit card information.

Wednesday, April 24 11:25 a.m.: Officers served a warrant of apprehension to a person at the Budget inn relative to a civil issue of alcohol or drug abuse. 12:31 p.m.: A caller reported a loose dog. Animal control retrieved the dog and returned it to its owner. 1:36 p.m.: Officers received a report of a juvenile matter on Nahatan Street. Police determined the incident occured in Dedham and referred the matter to that town's department. 7:27 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious person in the Fairview Street area that was identified to be an employee of Verizon.

The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. In the early morning hours of April 23, 2013 Westwood Police investigated a report o fa suspicious man walking in the Warwick Drive neighborhood. Police responded and were able to determine that a number of parked, unlocked vehicles were entered in the Warwick Drive and surrounding neighborhoods. While checking the area, Officers were approached by several other residents informing them that their unlocked cars had been entered and items stolen. As Police continued to check the area, they encountered a suspicious vehicle occupied by two males. Saturday, April 20 10:02 a.m.: Officers served a probation warrant from Cambridge District Court to a 41-year-old Pine Lane resident. 9:18 p.m.: A resident of Highland Glen Road filed a report relative to a package that was delivered to an apartment but was taken before the owner received it. Officers advised the caller to contact the postal service. Sunday, April 21 9:57 a.m.: A caller on High street reported a loose dog. Officers notified animal control who responded, found an open door at the dog's home, placed the dog inside and closed the door.

Friday, April 19 8:01 a.m.: An employee of a Perwal Street business requested medical attention because he appeared to have been struck by a forklift while moving a palate of ice. 9:24 a.m.: Officers received a report of a Washinton Street resident being called repeatedly and being threatened. 3:32 p.m.: A resident on Blue Hill Drive called police reporting there is a person on his property that is unwanted. Officers issued a criminal summons to a 22-year-old Westwood man for trespassing. 3:47 p.m.: A business on Providence Highway filed a police report relative to employee theft.
