Beach weather is coming: and soon, the bathing suits will be coming out. But even if it were the middle of winter, we know there are still countless Patch readers who make physical fitness a part of their routine. We've crowned our winner.
Thank you to all those who uploaded photos for our Mother's Day photo contest. It's never easy to choose just one photo as the winner of our $25 gift card. After much deliberation, we had to go with Elizabeth Spinney's photo of her mother at her brother's wedding. "My mother survived breast cancer last year following a mastectomy, and recently she celebrated my brother's wedding. She worked so hard to find a dress that was both elegant and covered her scars--doesn't she look beautiful (and so happy)," Elizabeth wrote in the caption with her photo. Congratulations, Elizabeth.
