Local Upscale Bistro Receives Achievement of Excellence Award

Chiara among 11 restaurants so honored by American Culinary Federation.

Chiara, an upscale bistro located at 569 High Street in Westwood, recently received the Achievement of Excellence Award at the 2012 American Culinary Federation National Convention in Orlando, Florida. “ACF’s Achievement of Excellence Award is a very special award for me and Chiara,” said Steve LaCount, AAC, owner/executive chef. “Although Chiara has received favorable reviews and praise through many media forms, ACF’s award is extra special because of one main reason: it is an award of recognition by one’s peers.” Chiara was one of 11 operations nationwide to receive the award, which recognizes food service establishments that exemplify a commitment to excellence. Now, Patch places is a spot where users can find descriptions, hours, accepted payment methods, and much more for spots around town.
