Westwood Lions 2011 Calendar to Show Westwood Pride
Contest encourages residents to submit photos portraying Westwood's finest features.
Residents of Westwood currently have the chance to be featured in an upcoming 2011 calendar. As part of the first annual Westwood Lions Community Calendar contest, residents are able to submit photos of what they think show the more unique and interesting parts of Westwood. "We've started posting signs for the contest, and the deadline is set to be August 15," said Bob DeVoy, the second vice president of the Westwood Lions Club. The Lions Club plans to extend the deadline a bit in order to give contestants more time to submit their photos if need be, Devoy said. After all the photos are submitted for the contest, DeVoy and other members of the Westwood Lions will sort through them to decide on the 12 best to cover the entire 2011 calendar …
