Christine Casavant was one of 150 members of the Class of 2016 at Providence College to participate in the college's 22nd annual Urban Action program. Along with 25 upperclassmen, they volunteered in Providence, Kent and Newport counties by basically help keep the cities clean and looking good. Four Westwood residents made the 2012 Spring Dean's List at UMass Boston: Marie Sayah, Jessica LaBelle, Yaxuan Li and Kristen Federico. Congratulations to all four.

Dean's List recipients are honored by their college's respective dean; to qualify, students must earn a semester grade point average of at least 3.5. First up this week is Stephanie Sukennik, who was named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University.
