Owners Steve and Heidi Cerullo remember their long-time friend and business partner.
Michael Cataldo is being remembered by his friends. The owner "The Catman Cafe" in Mansfield died Dec. 31. Steve Cerullo said that Cataldo was called the "Catman" not only because of his name, but also because he liked cats and his father (when Steve and he were growing up) always had Cadillac’s. “He had a heart of gold,” he said. “Everybody who knew him loved him and loved his family. We grew up in Westwood together in the same neighborhood, everybody loved him. Michael W. "Catman" Cataldo Jr., of Westwood, died Dec. 31, 2012. Beloved father of Jessica, Gina, Nicholas and the late Michael W. III. Father-in-law of John Lobsitz. Devoted son of the late Michael W. and JoAnn P. (Sullo) Cataldo. Brother of Donna Schubert and former husband of Maria Aitoro. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was a graduate of both Westwood High School and Boston College.
