Xaverian Tennis Defeats Malden Catholic 5-0

The win brings the Hawks to 2-4 for the season.

The boys tennis team was able to improve their record to 2-4 with a 5-0 win at Malden Catholic on Tuesday.

Winners for the Hawks in singles play were Brandon Sepe at first (6-2, 6-1), freshman Jamie Chisholm at second (6-0, 6-2) and sophomore Nate Cohen (6-2, 6-0).

Winning at doubles were John Coville and Talis Reks at first 6-3, 6-2 and Colin Gilpatric and Sean McCarthy at second 6-3, 6-3.

The Hawks next will look to avenge an earlier loss to the Eagles of B.C. High at home on Thursday.
