Wolverines Sustain First Loss to Belmont
The girls varsity hockey team fell to Belmont High School on Monday, 4-0.

Westwood ran into a on Monday, which was coming off a great game knocking off top ranked Woburn in the tough Middlesex League.
The game, which was held at Belmont High School, ended with a Belmont victory over the Wolverines, 4-0.

Following a scoreless first period, goals by Becca Moore and Shannon Reynolds put Belmont up 2-0 after two periods.
Third period goals by Caroline McCarthy and Alexandra Cellucci put the game away for Belmont.

Belmont is now 8-2, while Westwood drops to 5-1-1.
