Westwood Little League Seeks Board Members

Several positions are available due to retiring board members. Nominations are due by Oct. 7.

The Annual Meeting for the Westwood Baseball Association (d/b/a Westwood Little League) is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Thurston Middle School Auditorium. The meeting is open to the public.

Westwood Baseball is a volunteer organization that depends on the generous donation of time, talent, and energy of parents to ensure we continue to put forward a great experience for the kids and families involved.

All positions are elected each year, there are several positions that will be vacated by "retiring" board members. We are a healthier organization when we have greater involvement from the community we serve and as such are looking for new board members, especially those with younger aged children who will be participating in the league for several years to come.

Anyone interested in serving on the Board should provide 14 days prior notice to the Secretary in accordance with the league's Annual Meeting Election Procedures. This means anyone interested should contact Mitchell Katzman by Monday, Oct. 7 at the latest.
