Westwood Lax Player Named 'Miss Lacrosse' by ESPN Boston

The graduating senior is set to play Div. 1 Lacrosse at the University of New Hampshire in the fall.

Following another championship season, one of the Westwood High School varsity girls lacrosse team's own has been crowned "Miss Lacrosse" by ESPNBoston.com.

Senior captain Laura McHoul, who graduated from WHS in May, received the designation this week, according to an ESPNBoston.com report

McHoul was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Tri-Valley League after recording 148 points (63 goals, 85 assists), giving her a career total of 426 (194, 232), according to the ESPNBoston.com report.

McHoul helped lead the Wolverines to yet in the MIAA Div. 1 State Championship. 

McHoul follows in the footsteps of former teammate Sarah Biron, who received the designation last year. Biron was also in 2011.
