Schools: No. 2 Duxbury knocks off No. 1 Xaverian in Boys Lacrosse

Brendan Burke, Tyler Powers and Trevor O’Brien scored two goals apiece, and Nick Marrocco made 12 saves to back up a tremendous defensive effort as the No. 2 Duxbury boys lacrosse team took down top-ranked Xaverian, 10-5, last night in Westwood.

“We never left,” a smiling Duxbury coach Chris Sweet said. “It all starts with Nick Marrocco. As long as we have Nick in the cage, we have a chance against anybody. We have a really physical, tough defense and we’re tough to score on.”
