Recreation Dept. Announces Extended Tennis Programs

The programs will run for an additional two weeks.

The Westwood Recreation Department announced on the Westwood Town Website Wednesday that it has extended the town's Youth Tennis Clinics and Lessons for an additional two weeks.

Youth tennis lessons, for ages 5 through 7, will be held during the weeks of August 23 – 26, and August 30 – September 2.

The lessons will take place Monday through Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Westwood High School Tennis Courts. There is a registration fee of $40 for interested participants.

Likewise, a youth tennis clinic will be held for ages 8 through 13 during those same weeks. The lessons will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the High School Tennis courts. The registration fee for interested participants is $104.

For any cancellations due to rain or unplayable court conditions, the Westwood Recreation Department will hold a make-up lesson on Friday of that week.
