Westwood and Medway-Ashland entered the game unbeaten on the season Tuesday night at the Perelli Arena in Franklin.

Senior Liz Stuehr put Westwood up 1-0 early off a nice pass from Olivia Fay. Westwood then made it 2-0 when Meghan Kelly scored on a setup from freshmen Kat Heidelberger and Lulu Swartz.

Swartz then stole the puck inside the Medway/Ashland zone and put it in the net for a 3-0 Westwood lead after the first period.

Medway-Ashland (3-1-3) got one back midway through the second period. Westwood (5-0-1) got that one back, however, within a minute on a goal by Kelly Healy, setup by Kim Egizi and Ella Hazar.

Medway-Ashland had a chance to get back into the game with a 5 on 3 power play in the third period, but Ella Hazar, Kelly Healey and Katie Horsfall killed off the power play with excellent positional play.
