Deerfield River Float Trip

The is sponsoring the Deerfield River Float trip on Thursday, August 19.

The event is geared for younger rafters as well as adults interested in easy whitewater and a unique way to see the Deerfield River Valley.

The trip spans eight miles along the Deerfield River, which stretches from Monroe to Florida, Massachusetts.

During which participants can enjoy a combination of floating, splashes of whitewater, as well as swimming and a riverside snack. Guides will take participants parallel to the historic Mohawk Trail.

The trip also includes deluxe motorcoach bus transportation, leaving for the trip around 8 a.m. and returning to Westwood at around 8:30 p.m. There will also be a visit to Red Apple Farm with for a box luncheon, and later, after the rafting, a barbecue cookout.
