WESTWOOD - Things looked bleak or Medfield after falling into a quick, 4-0 hole, against reigning Div. 1 state champion Xaverian, but Warriors coach John Isaf and his charges have seen this sort of thing before and knew exactly what they were capable of.
Once the third-ranked Warriors began to settle themselves down, they gradually took control of the game and came storming back, getting a hat trick from Matt Crowell, two goals apiece from Nigel Reiff, Brian Bissell and Jack Isaf and a 14-save gem from goalie Robert Treiber to grab a 12-9 decision over the top-ranked Hawks Thursday night at the Hawk Bowl.
