PHOTOS: Athletes Hit the Trails for 8th Annual Hale Triathlon

The sporting event kicked off Sunday morning at Hale Reservation.

hosted its eighth annual triathalon Sunday morning.

It was an absolutely beautiful day to be outside and the Hale beach was packed with athletes and fans.

Althletes came from all over to compete in the firendly race. There was an adult race and a kids race, making the day a wonderful fmaily experience.

Several said that Hale is a great place for such an event, because the running and biking portions of the race are on wooded paths that wind through the reservation.
