Westwood Residents Earn Academic Honors

The following information was provided by the students' respective schools.

Xaverian Brothers High School senior Geoffrey Martello has been chosen as a semifinalist in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. He was selected based on his 2011 PSAT scores, which were among the highest in the state and country.

Eight other Xaverian seniors were chosen as commended students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are: Giovanni Aguila, John Greeley, John Hathaway, Stephen Lacman, Jeffrey Letourneau, Henry Light, Robert Palladino and Conor Biagiotti.

Boston College High School had several students from Westwood earn High Honors in the fourth quarter. They are, with year of graduation in parenthesis: Jackson Kraemer Bockhorst (2013), Evan Walsh (2013), Marcus Thomas Bockhorst (2015) and Ian Marx (2015). Michael LoPiano (2013) achieved Honors.
