VIDEO: Young Students Celebrate Thanksgiving Early
Kingergartners and first graders at Martha Jones and Downey Schools held an early holiday celebration on Wednesday.
The celebration came early for students at the and schools on Wednesday.
At Martha Jones, kindergartners of Janet Schwartz and Christine Layton sang Thanksgiving-themed songs and read poems to their parents before settling down for a feast.
Likewise, first graders and kindergartners at the Downey School gathered in the cafeteria, where parents applauded a loud and energetic performance of songs before they all headed down the hall to their respective classrooms for a feast.
