Schools

You Deserve Respect! Safe from Bullying.

Do you want to feel safe from bullying? Do you want to help others feel safe at school? Then this talk is for you!

You are invited to a free public lecture on Sunday, May 1st, at 3 PM that will transform how you think on this topic regardless of any situation you may be faced with. Christian Science lecturer, Heloísa Gelber Rivas, CSB will present empowering spiritual ideas that bring healing and neutralize the effects of bullying. All are welcome: parents, teachers, students and members of the community. The talk will be held in the Dr. Philip O. Coakley Middle School Auditorium, located at 1315 Washington Street in Norwood, and is sponsored by members of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Norwood, who are moved to share spiritual solutions to this prominent topic in the local school system today.

This lecture gets to the heart of true identity and safety. During her talk, Rivas will reference the original sourcebook on Christian healing, the Bible, along with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, a book of universally applicable ideas on practical spirituality. She will share examples from her experience on how connection to God ensures safety and inspired actions based on clear thinking.
