Temple Beth David to Offer 10 Week Course: Parenting Through a Jewish Lens

is proud to be offering a 10 week program, Parenting Through a Jewish Lens, this fall in collaboration with Hebrew College and Combined Jewish Philanthropy’s Commission on Jewish Life and Learning.

Let's face it. Those of us who have a kid or kids are really busy. If we have a break, we want to go to the gym, get groceries, catch up with friends . . . there are millions of ways to spend our precious free time. But when do we stop and reflect on our most important role?

We invite you to make room in your life for an incredible opportunity. Give yourself the gift of a ten-session inspirational course, Parenting Through a Jewish Lens.  Together with other thoughtful parents, discover how ikkarim (Hebrew for “principles”) can inspire good parenting. Learn how Judaism's sage perceptions about the human condition can enrich your relationships.

You don't have to be Jewish. You don't have to belong to a synagogue. Parenting Through a Jewish Lens is for any parent interested in learning how timeless values can strengthen their family.

Offered by Hebrew College and the Combined Jewish Philanthropies’ Commission on Jewish Life and Learning, this course is taught by outstanding instructors who both understand the interests and concerns of parents, and are adept at facilitating meaningful exchange.
