Westwood Voter Registration Now Open

Registration deadline coming at the end of August.

The Massachusetts State Primary will be held on Tuesday, September 14, according to a statement from the Westwood Town Clerk's office.

The last day to register to vote or change party enrollment will be August 25, and the Town Clerk's office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.

Absentee Ballots need to be returned by mail or in person to the Town Clerk's office no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.

For a Primary Election, a voter will be given a ballot according to the party in which they are enrolled. Voters not enrolled need to choose between a Republican or Democratic ballot.

Residents can vote by an absentee ballot if they are absent from the town on election day, have a physical disability that prevents them from voting at a polling place, or cannot vote at a polling location due to religious beliefs.
