The Scott Brown vs. Elizabeth Warren Senate race. Brown connected with a Westwood student this past spring, welcoming  junior Alex Rudi to his office after the youth earned his Eagle Scout status.

Massachusetts State Sen. Mike Rush is up for re-election this fall. Rush defeated Westwood resident and candidate Michael Walsh in the 2010 primary and won against Brad Williams in the election that year. Westwood officials  with a special commendation in February after the Senator returned home after serving overseas in Iraq.

State Rep. Paul McMurtry (D-Dedham)  that he would be seeking re-election in November 2012 to serve as the State Representative for Westwood and Dedham for a fourth term.

Congressman Stephen Lynch is up for re-election this fall.
