Town Hall Dealing with Voicemail Issues

Officials are working with Verizon to correct the situation.

Officials at Westwood Town Hall said Wednesday morning that they are currently dealing with voicemail and calling issues throughout several buidings in town. 

The matter is currently being looked into with Verizon, and officials said they are hoping to resolve the issue in a timely manner. 

The following buildings being affected by the voicemail and calling issues:

  • Carby Street Municipal Building
  • Westwood Public Library (both the and branches)

Note: The Westwood and Departments are not currently experiencing the issues. 

Residents who are trying to reach a specific department and receive voicemail message that begins with, "Welcome to Verizon Voicemail," should hang up and contact Ellen Hurley in the Selectmen's office at 781-326-4172 or Christine Narciso McCarthy at 781-320-1016.
