New Town Board Members to be Sworn in Tonight

Westwood Board of Selectmen will swear in the new appointees, thanking them for their service to the town.

A number of new town board and committee members appointed by the Westwood Board of Selectmen will be sworn in to their respective duties as town officials during a ceremony tonight.

The event is planned and organized by Westwood Town Clerk Dottie Powers, who helped plan the first ceremony last year.

"We invite all newly appointed board and committee members to attend and be sworn in as a group to their duties," said Powers. "The Board of Selectmen also attends to thank residents for their service to their town."
