Joint Planning Board, Board of Selectmen Meeting Cancelled

A previously planned meeting between the two committees has been cancelled again, due to a lack of updates to discuss.

A joint meeting between the Westwood Board of Selectmen and the town's Planning Board that was planned for Monday night has been cancelled for a second time.

The meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, had been cancelled due to multiple scheduling conflicts, and as such was postponed to coincide with tonight's regulary-scheduled Board of Selectmen meeting. The substance of the meeting was to discuss updates to the Westwood Station project, specifically any litigation that might be currently involved.

But after deciding there weren't sufficient updates to discuss, the committees have decided to cancel the meeting again. A future meeting would be scheduled if further updates and need for discussion arise, according to the Board of Selectmen's office.
