Fall Town Meeting Set for Nov. 18
Westwood's fall town meeting date has been set for Nov. 18.
Mark your calendars for Westwood's fall town meeting which will be held on Nov. 18.
The Board of Selectmen set the date and opened the warrant at its last meeting (July 22). They also set the following timeline:
- Aug. 26 – Closing Warrant (extended to Sept. 9, if need be)
- Oct. 8 – Meeting on the warrant articles
- Oct. 23 – First public hearing on the articles
The revised town charter that passed in May 2012 calls for an annual fall town meeting; however, if there are less than 10 articles to be heard, the selectmen can cancel the meeting which they did last fall.
