Two car vehicle accident on High Street with minor damage. A 2000 Toyota stopped in traffic and a 2003 Nissan didn’t stop in time, crashing into the rear of the Toyota.
The Toyota driver was transported to Norwood Hospital.

Motor Vehicle Accident leads to Arrest
Tuesday, May 8 at 4:23 p.m.
A 2006 Ford was stopped attempting to enter the East Street rotary when rear-ended by 2005 Pontiac. The Ford sustained rear damage the Pontiac sustained moderate front-end damage. A 39-year-old Franklin man was arrested on two outstanding warrants and a charge of driving with a revoked license.
Child/Infant Car seat Inspect
Wednesday May 9 at 3:16 p.m.
The police department offers a child seat inspection as a Public Service. Certified officers work on scattered shifts, recommending that people call ahead if they are interested in a free inspection that day. There are no penalties if the car seat is improperly installed.
