Westwood Police Log: Vigilant Residents Report Suspicions
The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned there is no indication of a conviction.
Monday, October 29
Animal Complaint (2:26 p.m.) - A Westwood Glen Rd. resident called to report that a dog was running loose. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
Traffic Lights Out (2:33 p.m.) - The traffic lights were out at the intersection of University Ave. and Canton St. Portable stop signs were put out.

Hazard (3:42 p.m.) - A tree limb was down near the intersection of Nahatan St. and Clapboardtree St.
Hazard (8:56 p.m.) - The East St. rotary was flooded.

Suspicious Activity (4:43 p.m.) - A Hillview Terr. resident called to report that some kids were shooting BB guns.
Suspicious Activity (7:11 p.m.) - A resident of Nahatan St. called to report that a man wearing blue sweats and a gray jersey was on another property. Officers checked, and the man had business on the property.
Suspicious Activity (10:11 p.m.) - A caller reported that there was a man hanging around the Mobil Gas Station on High St. An officer checked, and the man was waiting for the attendant to get off work as he was a friend.
