Westwood Police Log: Vandalism, Fraud, Barking Dog

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, November 11

Barking Dog (9:49 p.m.) - An Oak St. resident called to report a neighborhood dog barking. The caller stated that the dog is keeping their kids up. Officers were dispatched to the area, but the dog was quiet upon their arrival.

Larceny (3:18 p.m.) - A man pawned stolen jewelry at a store on Providence hwy.

Vandalism (8:39 a.m.) - Officer were called to Briar Ln. after a report of damage to a mailbox.

Vandalism (8:51 a.m.) - Westwood Police received a call about a smashed pumpkin on Autumn Dr.

Identity Fraud (3:29 p.m.) - A Clapboardtree St. resident filed an identity fraud complaint. The resident stated that a tax return had been filed with his social secutiry number but that it was not his return.
