Westwood Police Log: Two Arrests

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When arrests are mentioned there is no indication of convictions.

Saturday, November 10

Motor Vehicle Stop/Arrest (3:19 a.m.) - Westwood Police received a broadcast from Norwood Police about a missing tire from a car. A Westwood Police officer spotted the vehicle and stopped it. The officer noticed the operator, a 17-year-old male, was intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and Operating Under the Influence of Liquor while License is Suspended for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor.

Larceny (10:18 a.m.) - A Dover Rd. resident reported that a charge on his credit card had been made in Cape Town, South Africa. This was not an authorized charge, and a report was filed.

Arrest (12:24 a.m.) - A random registry query by a Westwood Police officer led to an arrest of Laura Durette, 31, of Cambridge on an outstanding warrant out of West Roxbury District Court.

Monday, November 12

Fight (9:54 a.m.) - Officers were called to the Route 128 Train Station in response to a fight between a male and female. The male left the scene before the officers arrived. A warrant was issued, and he later turned himself in.
